Join the SBR Tech Club for the newest installment of our "Digitize Your Life Series" with this new five-part hands on workshop on creating beautiful photo books using Shutterfly. By the end of this workshop you should have a Shutterfly book prepared and ready to share with family and friends.
Whether you have digital photos, printed pictures, or even old slides you'd like to use, this series will guide you step-by-step through the entire process, from organizing your photos to holding a professional-quality book in your hands. Your instructors will be our resident Shutterfly expert, Mary Kay Voss, and our photography expert, Steve Weiss.
Class 1: Introduction to Shutterfly & Storytelling

- Time: 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Location: SBR Tech Club Room in the SBR Arts & Technology Building
- Instructor: Mary Kay Voss
In this first class, Mary Kay will introduce you to Shutterfly and how to use it. She'll share her own photo books to demonstrate various ideas for organizing your photos, such as by family life, trips, or special occasions. The class will also cover how to decide on the amount of text to include in your stories and captions.
What to bring: A laptop (or a thumb drive and use one of the club's computers), your creative mindset, note pad and pen.
Homework: Start organizing your pictures, slides, and souvenirs to tell a story.
