About this event
Tony Fama will cover detailed aspects of home automation with goals of low cost, ease of use and setup of voice assistants. Tony will explain how to automate lights, thermostats, locks, and pools while enabling preset scenarios for events, for example, sunrise, sunset, bedtime or parties. Voice assistants to be discussed include Amazon Alexa (best integration), Google Assistant (good compatibility), and Apple Siri (requires HomeKit). The class will focus on out-of-the-box solutions for convenience.
